Martyrika, also known as Martirika or Witness Pins, hold a special place in Orthodox Christian traditions. Martyrika are small tokens given to guests during Orthodox baptisms or christenings. They serve as a reminder that the recipient was present and witnessed the sacred ceremony and symbolise the spiritual connection between the baptised child, the guests, and the Church.
